Hima is located in an arid mountainous region in southwestern Saudi Arabia. On one of the oldest ancient caravan routes that crossed the Arabian Peninsula, The Hima Cultural Area includes a large collection of images engraved on rocks depicting hunting, animals, plants and lifestyles of a culture that spanned 7,000 years without interruption.
