Saudi ICOMOS and RCU is enrolling a group of KAU students in its advanced heritage conservation Studio training program (Aug 4- Aug 9)
The strategic partnership is making a huge impact on heritage conservation training for emerging young Saudi professionals in KSA through the Saudi ICOMOS- RCU heritage conservation training program which offers a breadth of knowledge and improvement in skills and abilites in various heritage conservation and restoration related topics. The program focuses on Heritage conservation process in general and on heritage restoration activities in AlUla old town and Oasis in particular since AlUla is an active center for heritage conservation in KSA
The training includes theortical lectures and site work training in BIM laser documentation, diagnosis of pathologies in heritage buildings and specifications of interventions and repairs
